EXTERIOR VIEWS
Bryn Du, Llanwddyn, Oswestry, SY10 0LZ
This view is taken from the road outside the property and shows the entrance way and the hills behind the house. The driveway is shared with the next house, a weekend retreat, who also have a separate drive and thus seldom need to use it.
The parking for the next property is through another set of double gates, not shown here, at the far end of the driveway. They do not have the right to park in the section of drive between the two sets of gates.
There is a small garden in the front of the property, low maintenance but sufficient to grow flowers and vegetables plus a gravelled seating area near the front gate.
Glyndwrs Way runs along the forestry track that passes behind the property. This affords the next view, that of the 'rear' entrance into the lean-to which runs along much of the rear of the property. There is a small, sheltered courtyard outside the door, ideal for sitting in the early evening sun during the summer months.
From a few metres further up Glyndwrs Way one can see over the roof of the property to the dam itself, here shown overflowing during July 2007. Under more usual weather conditions the dam can only be expected to overflow during the winter and early spring. It NEVER floods here though!
